Spilt Pea Soup

- Ham Bone
- 8 Cups of Water
- 1 Large Carrot, sliced and cubed
- 1 Medium Onion
- 2 Clove of Garlic, diced
- Pepper Corns, about 25
- 1 Pkg (1 lb) of Split Peas, washed
- Put all items in a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Turn down and simmer 1 to 2 hours until soup thicken.
- Take out ham bone and let cool.
- ake off all the meat left on the bone and place back in to the pot.
- Add salt to taste.
