We are officially South Dakota residents! We drove up on a Monday (11.5 hours), spent the night and the next morning went to the DMV. We turned in out old driver licenses and in 15 minutes we had our new South Dakota driver licenses and residency forms completed! We then when back to America’s Mailbox and turned in our voting paperwork. So its all done! Wait, not so fast, we had to drove back…another 10.5 hours, its down hill you know!
We have our mailing address via a Personal Mail Box (PMB) at America’s Mailbox in Box Elder. Their a pretty big operation as the have a few hotel rooms and about 50 RV spots with hook ups and 20 ro so without hookups. They have been doing this a long time and have it done pat. They were very helpful and made us feel like we knew what we were doing!
