We left Wilderness Lakes on the 1st of March on our way to Casa Grande AZ and spent the night at Quartzside, AZ. We turned south on hwy 95 and just pass the Roadrunner BLM campground around mile post 99 we pulled over on the right side and found plenty of level room to park for the night. There were several other campers already here but there is plenty of space.
Every year the town hosts The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation and RV Show where as many as 750,000 to 1,000,000 people, mostly in RV’s, converge on this sleepy little desert town of about 4,000. Reported as the largest RV show in the world. One day we may go if the timing is right.
