Creamed Beef on Toast
I double the recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons of butter
- 4 Tablespoons of flour
- 2 Cups of hot milk
- 1 Pkg of sliced corned beef or sage or ham sausage
- Peas
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter and add flour.
- Cook about 2 minutes.
- Add milk.
- Cook about 3 to 4 minutes until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in meat.
- Cook until warm.
- Serve over toast or biscuits.
Notes
This is sooo good. I love it with peas or substitute the corned beef with a sage or am sausage for a great sausage gravy.
