So we are now at Verde Valley RV Resort at Cottonwood AZ. This is the second time here, the first was just a short stay, this time we’re here for 16 days. It’s a really nice area in Arizona near Prescott and Sedona. The weather here is so nice ,at night its been in the 40’s and the days high 60’s and low 70’s almost perfect!
We meet some really cool friends here, Penny and Ron from Washington state. Their a retired couple traveling in a large 5th wheel along with their poodle Reggie. Reggie’s such a cool dog, like our Bily he loves to watch TV, he also likes cell phones! We spend a couple of nights talking and comparing notes on full timing, getting ready to go full timing and family. We hope to meet up with them again in the pacific northwest later this year.
Penny and Ron turned us onto the town of Jerome, a small mining town just past Cottonwood. We went there for lunch one day at a place they recommended, Haunted Hamburger. They were spot on, this place had great food and local beers. We didn’t have time to visit the rest of the town but its close so we’ll be back. So more to come about Jerome and Sedona!
