From Fiesta Grande to the higher elevation of Cottonwood AZ. This has been one of our favorite places to stay. There are lots of trails for Maggie and I to explore.
For 50 amp service they assign you a site. The first space they assigned us was way too small. So they gave us another which wasn’t too bad, first picture, but for the last 5 days of our stay we had to move. But not so bad, they gave us one of the new sites, second picture, sitting on top of the hill overlooking the valley at no cost, they are charging an extra $10/night for these sights.
About this time the virus was starting to hit many states and they started to shut down including Thousand Trails campgrounds. If we would have been here for one more day they would have let us stay for the next month or so as they were starting to cancel all current reservations going forward, but we had reservations back to Fiesta Grande down in Casa Grande, which worked out better as its a bigger town then Cottonwood and it had a larger hospital just in case.
