We left Yosemite Lakes and headed north to our next stop at Lake of the Springs in Oregon House via an overnight stay at the Klinker Brick Winery in Lodi. It was a great half way point and its always nice to stay in the middle of a working farm/winery. We did the wine tasting and meet Matt and Duffy, Matt who is a retired CHP motorcycle officer who did time in LA and Ventura area and Duffy a retired communications sales representative. We had great conversation with them and it was amazing how busy the place was on a Tuesday. Lots of wine tasters out there! We were the only ones in the back and had plenty of room, it was nice to walk around the grape vines and cherry trees with the dogs, nice and quiet very calming. I think Matt stated there are 86 wineries in the local area and we did see a lot of them on our way in and out.
